Why I Get It (and How I Can Help You)
I reversed my own autoimmune condition using a powerful combination of nutritional & lifestyle science, medicine, and somatic work—and I’m here to help you do the same.
I am a certified health coach and a yoga/breathwork practitioner with hundreds of hours of education and professional client and patient experience. I have worked with 100 + clients and patients to help them restore their health.

My story with autoimmunity and healing from Grave’s disease.
I was diagnosed with celiac disease over a decade ago and several years later with Graves disease.
I thought I was living a pretty healthy lifestyle with celiac so Graves took me by surprise and quickly took a huge toll on me. Emotionally, mentally and physically.
I was rapidly losing weight, my hair was thinning, my hands and feet trembled, and I was constantly running to the bathroom. My heart raced with palpitations, and I was so wired I could barely sleep. It was terrifying.
When I was diagnosed with Graves', I was shocked and overwhelmed. How could this happen again? I had already been living a healthy, gluten-free lifestyle—eating well, exercising, staying hydrated, using non-toxic products, and prioritizing rest. Yet, my body was attacking itself again, and I couldn’t understand why.
I was completely devastated.
At my first endocrinologist appointment, I was told my thyroid wasn’t functioning properly. To determine if it was Graves’, nodules, or even cancer, I was advised to undergo a radioactive iodine uptake test—a procedure where you swallow a small dose of radioactive iodine to help doctors assess thyroid activity.
My face must have said it all because my doctor quickly reassured me, "Don’t worry, it’s completely safe."
Oh, but then came the kicker— “Just avoid close contact with people, especially children.”
Why? Because I would be radioactive and could expose others to radiation.
Then came the real gut-punch: “This is just a thyroid problem, and the only solution is medication. Diet and lifestyle won’t make a difference. And if meds don’t work, we can simply radiate or remove your thyroid—problem solved.”
Gasp, right?! Sadly, this experience is all too common. Maybe you’ve been there too. And if you did have your thyroid radiated or removed, please give yourself grace—you made the best decision with the information you had at the time.
But for me? I never went back to that doctor.
Through my own journey with autoimmunity, I knew there had to be a better way—a more holistic, whole-person approach to healing. Even if medication was part of the process, I understood it was just for symptom management—I needed to address the root cause of my imbalance.
With the support of a naturopathic doctor, I took a short-term approach to medication while focusing on deeper healing. And I’m so grateful to say that I successfully reversed my Graves’ disease and am now completely symptom-free.
